Ready for Groundbreaking in Grandview
Shovels and Hard Hats Ready for August 9th
Developers Deron Cherry, Kurt Pycior and Shane Hackett have waited a long time to make their dream of a stay-and-play facility for soccer players and their families to become a reality. On Tuesday, August 9 at 4:00PM, the developers will stand alongside their own families, young soccer players from Heartland Soccer Association, as well as City and County dignitaries for the ceremonial groundbreaking of Gateway Village Complex.
Grandview Mayor Leonard Jones, Jackson County Executive Frank White Jr., and U.S. Representative Emanuel Cleaver II will speak to the enormous impact this first-of-its-kind development is expected have on the City, State of Missouri, and even the region.
Gateway is located on 150 Highway between Byars and Kelly Road. The ceremony will be held on Park Hills Drive in the development. There will be signage on-site to help direct you to the event and parking.
